2002 Dear Colleague Letter →
In 2002, the DEA tried to ban Hemp Foods. The Hemp Industries Association fought back, and eventually won back the right for American businesses and consumers to use hemp. Today, Hemp foods are one of the fastest growing sectors of the natural foods industry.
Here, 21 members of Congress signed their names in support of industrial hemp and the hemp industry.
